Bellingham International Airport:

Direct Flights are now available to Bellingham via Delta Airlines so that you may bypass Seattle.

Horizon (to / from Seattle, WA), Allegiant Air (to / from Las Vegas, NV), and charter airlines depart from Bellingham's airport at I-5 Exit 258.

Train:

Amtrak service connects Seattle, Bellingham and Vancouver, B.C. Two northbound trains depart Seattle: 7:45 a.m. (arrives in Bellingham at approximately 9:52 a.m.) and 5:30 p.m. (arrives Bellingham at 8:00 p.m.). Two southbound trains depart Bellingham at 10:15 a.m. (arrives Seattle at 12:45 p.m.) and 7:27 p.m. (arrives Seattle at 9:55 p.m.). Trains depart at the Fairhaven Station adjacent to the Bellingham Cruise Terminal (I-5 Exit 250). Prices from Bellingham to Seattle: $33-46, round-trip. Alaska Marine Highway System: Bellingham is the southern port of the Alaska Ferry, which departs from the Bellingham Cruise Terminal in Fairhaven (I-5 Exit 250). The ferry makes a week-long voyage through Alaska's Inside Passage. For information and reservations, call (360) 676-8445 or (800) 642-0066. Cruise terminal parking: Self-pay lot, no reservations. Day use:$6.00. Weekly: $30.00.

Port of Bellingham:The Port of Bellingham manages and operates a number of the transportation connections within Whatcom County including the airport, marinas, cruise terminal, and Fairhaven Station, where Amtrak train and bus services are located.

Lummi Island Ferry: Lummi is the island seen from Bellingham Bay. Hourly car ferry departs Gooseberry Point. Take I-5 Exit 260. Call (360) 676-6692.

San Juan Islands and Victoria:

Bellingham has seasonal passenger ferries to Orcas and San Juan Island, and to Victoria on Vancouver Island.

Victoria/San Juan Cruises' Victoria Star 2 makes daily summer crossings to Victoria, B.C. Departs the cruise terminal at 9:00 am. Call (888) 443-4552. San Juan Island Commuter offers a summer-only passenger ferry between Bellingham and 14 of the San Juan Islands. Call 1-888-734-8180.

Bus:

Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) has more than 30 routes, six days a week that link Whatcom County communities. Fares are currently 50 cents a ride. For information, call (360) 676-RIDE. Does not serve the Bellingham Airport.

Airport Shuttle: Professional passenger and express shuttle service transports passengers to and from SeaTac Airport, the Washington State Ferry dock at Anacortes and several other destinations. Call 1-866-235-5247 or (360) 380-8800.

Quick Shuttle: This bus service transports passengers arriving and departing from Canada only (Vancouver, B.C./Bellingham/Seattle). Call (604) 244-3744 or (800) 665-2122 for information.
